Norman Percevel Rockwell (February 3, 1894 – November 8, 1978) A 20th-century American artist well known for his paintings and illustrations, he produced over 4,000 artworks. He had attended the National Academy of Design and the Art Students League. Among his works were 322 covers for The Saturday Evening Post from 1916 through 1963, Boy Scouts' calendars between 1925 and 1976, and illustrations for over 40 books including Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn. He also produced art for Look magazine, Boys' Life, Popular Science, and many other posters, catalogs, playing cards, etc.
