Sir Peter Paul Rubens, knighted by both the kings of Spain and England, was a prolific painter who died at the age of 62. Raphael (Raffaello Sanzio da Urbino) also left a large body of work, even though he died at the young age of 37.

Jan Van Eyck's "Marriage Of Giovanni Arnolfini" hangs in the National Gallery, Londond, England. Maxfield Parrish's "Ecstasy" was originally painted for a General Electric Calendar. His daughter Jean posed for the painting.
The Scream was rendered in several versions; two paintings and two pastels. Two of the artworks were stolen at different times from diffeent museums but eventually recovered.
